Diplomat Who Abruptly Left Washington Embassy Was Honoured by King James Roscoe, the deputy head of mission at the British embassy in Washington, has been recognised with a lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) by King Charles.
This honour was bestowed despite Roscoe's abrupt departure from his post earlier this week.
The circumstances surrounding Roscoe's exit remain unclear, as the British government has yet to provide an explanation for his sudden departure.
